Connect Robinhood
Connect a Robinhood account to Trade Echo copy trading as Robinhood Agentic Trading - requirements, the steps on the web or in the app, and what to do when a connection attempt does not finish.
Robinhood connects to Trade Echo as Robinhood Agentic Trading, through the same secure authorization as the other supported brokers. You can connect it from the web terminal or the Trade Echo mobile app.
You sign in and approve the connection at Robinhood. Trade Echo never sees or stores your Robinhood password, and you can revoke access from Robinhood at any time.
Before you start#
You need all of the following:
- A Robinhood account with options trading approved. Copies to Robinhood are single-leg options only.
- An active Trade Echo plan. Monthly, yearly, and lifetime all work. Robinhood is not a lifetime-only feature.
- Funds in the account. An account with no buying power connects fine but cannot fill copied trades.
Connect the account#
- Open Copy Trading and go to the Broker Accounts tab.
- Click Connect a broker.
- Choose Robinhood Agentic Trading, then continue.
- A secure Robinhood window opens. Sign in and approve the connection.
- Stay in the flow until it returns you to Trade Echo. Closing the window early cancels the attempt.
- Your Robinhood account appears in your broker list, ready to select when you follow a trader.
If the connection does not finish#
Closing the window, losing signal, or an error on the approval screen simply cancels the attempt. Nothing is left half-connected on the Trade Echo side, and you can retry immediately.
If you linked Robinhood to Trade Echo before (through the earlier mobile-only connection) and the new connection will not finish:
- In the Robinhood app, open your settings and find your connected apps.
- Remove any old Trade Echo entries, including pending ones.
- Return to Trade Echo and connect again.
If it still fails, send us a screenshot of what Robinhood shows and we will look at it.
Reconnecting later#
If Robinhood ends the session or you revoke access, use Reconnect on the Robinhood account card in Broker Accounts, or run the connect steps again.
