Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We also use browser storage, tracking pixels and server-side events. These technologies can remember preferences, connect a visit with a referral or advertising campaign, and measure website activity.

How we use them

• Website functionality: supporting site features and remembering privacy choices.
• Referral credit: FirstPromoter helps connect an affiliate’s referral with a later membership purchase. Referral identifiers may be stored in cookies and passed to checkout so the referring partner can receive credit.
• Analytics: understanding visits and interactions so we can improve the website.
• Advertising measurement: connecting ad clicks and campaigns with page views, pricing views, checkout starts and confirmed paid memberships.

Advertising partners and information shared

We use advertising and measurement services from OpenAI, Google, Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and X. Depending on the service, settings and applicable permissions, information shared may include browser or click identifiers, campaign information, pages viewed, event times and confirmed purchase information such as order identifiers, amount and currency.

Where enabled and permitted, we may share hashed email addresses or customer identifiers to help match purchases with ad interactions. Hashing transforms an identifier; it does not make it anonymous. We do not send payment card details to advertising partners. The information shared varies by platform.

Purchase measurement is enabled by default unless you have turned it off or your browser sends Global Privacy Control. You can change the purchase measurement setting below. This does not change affiliate credit or the price and availability of memberships.

Storage and retention

Our campaign attribution record expires after 30 days without a new campaign visit. We store your purchase measurement preference in this browser until you change it or clear the browser’s stored data. Other cookies and records have different lifetimes depending on their purpose and provider.

Other browser controls

The purchase measurement setting above controls our campaign attribution record and reporting of future confirmed purchases. It does not switch off all browser pixels, analytics or FirstPromoter referral cookies. You can also block or delete cookies and other stored data in your browser, and use your browser’s tracking controls. Blocking storage may affect website functionality; clearing it also removes saved preferences.
