What Is Pulse?
Pulse is Trade Echo's charting surface. It looks like professional charting - candles, drawing tools, timeframes - with one difference that changes how you use it: the dealer map renders directly on the candles. GEX by strike, the key levels as right-edge pills, the Charm Drift level, darkpool prints, and a Net Flow histogram all live on the same chart you draw on. It runs inside DealerEdge Focus mode on the dashboard and ships with full parity in the mobile app.
Five-Minute Setup
- Open a symbol. Pulse loads with candles and the overlay stack. Ten timeframes are available, from 1-minute to weekly, with regular, extended, and Globex sessions.
- Pick your GEX render style. Lines, bubbles, or channels - same data, three ways to see it. Bubbles size each strike by gamma concentration and are the fastest read for most people.
- Check the pills. Anchor, Flip, and Defense Lines render as dashed lines with labeled pills on the right edge. Glance, don't hunt.
- Note the Charm Drift level. The session's strongest time-decay strike, plotted automatically. The Charm lens article covers how to read it.
- Draw your first level. Press H, click, done - a horizontal line at your price.
The Drawing Suite
Seventeen tools, keyboard-first: trend lines (T), parallel channels (C), fibs (F), rectangles (R), long and short position tools, text notes, measure, and more. Undo, redo, and duplicate work the way you expect. Drawings save per ticker to your account as you work - draw a channel on desktop and it is already on your phone.
Alerts From Drawings
Right-click any horizontal line and create an alert at that price. The platform's alert scanner checks levels every minute and fires on cross, in either direction. Two honest details worth knowing: the alert is a snapshot of the price where you created it (dragging the line later does not move the alert - edit the alert itself), and "every minute" means exactly that, so treat alerts as level notifications, not tick-by-tick triggers. Manage every alert from the alerts panel on web or mobile.
Replay
Scrub any session day and play it back at 1x, 3x, 5x, or 15x minutes-per-tick. During replay, the GEX overlay reads the historical per-minute snapshot - you are seeing the dealer map as it stood at the playhead, not today's positioning painted over yesterday's tape. Replaying the session that stopped you out, with the levels as they were, is one of the fastest review habits you can build.
