Trade Echo MCPterms of use.
The short version of the rules for connecting an AI assistant to Trade Echo. They add to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which still apply in full.
The rules, in plain language
1. What these terms cover
These terms apply whenever you or an AI assistant you connect uses Trade Echo MCP, whether through OAuth or a personal access token. They add to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. If anything here conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service win.
2. Read-only data for your personal use
Trade Echo MCP gives your assistant read-only access to Trade Echo data under your membership, for your own research. You may not resell or redistribute the data, publish it in bulk, use it to build a competing product or dataset, or share your access with anyone else. The tools cannot place orders or change your account, and you may not try to make them.
3. Keep your credentials private
Personal access tokens and OAuth grants work like passwords. Keep them out of chats, shared files and public code, and use one per assistant. You are responsible for activity under your credentials. If a token may have leaked, revoke it right away on Agent Connections.
4. Rate limits apply
Each tool call uses credits from hourly budgets per connection and per member, plus a short burst limit. Do not try to get around them, for example by rotating tokens or opening extra connections. We may change limits and tools as the service evolves.
5. We may revoke access
We may throttle, suspend or revoke any connection that looks abusive, automated beyond personal use, shared, or otherwise against these terms, and connections stop working when your membership is not active. You can revoke any connection yourself at any time.
6. Your AI assistant is a third party
When you connect an assistant, it receives the data it requests on your behalf, and its provider handles that data under its own terms and privacy policy. Account data is shared only if you turn on My Account. We do not control what an assistant says, and AI summaries can be wrong or out of date. What we share and log is described in section 3.2 of the Privacy Policy.
7. Not financial advice
Data from Trade Echo MCP, and anything an assistant builds from it, is for information only. It is not investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell anything. Options trading carries significant risk; read the Risk Disclosure.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and continuing to use Trade Echo MCP after an update means you accept it.
