What the Affiliate Program Is
The Trade Echo affiliate program lets members earn recurring commissions by referring new subscribers. When someone signs up through your referral link and stays subscribed, you receive a percentage of their subscription revenue every month for as long as they remain a customer. The program is run through an affiliate portal and is open to any Trade Echo member who wants to participate.
Earnings from the program depend entirely on how many people you refer and whether they stay subscribed. There are no income guarantees, and your results will reflect the quality and relevance of the audience you share the platform with.
Commission Rate and Structure
You earn 30% recurring commissions on every active referral. That commission is paid every month for as long as the referred customer keeps their subscription active. There is no cap on the number of referrals you can have, and no cap on total commissions.
The recurring structure means your earnings can grow over time as you accumulate active referrals, rather than earning a one-time flat payment per signup. If a referred customer cancels their subscription, the commission for that customer stops. If they resubscribe later through your link, commissions resume.
Getting Started
- Sign up through the affiliate portal and verify your email. The portal is where you manage everything related to your affiliate account.
- Find your referral link in the dashboard once your account is active. This is the link you will share in all your promotional content.
- Personalize your URL using the "Customize Token" feature. You can create a link in the format tradeecho.com/ref/yourname instead of using a generic token. A recognizable URL performs better in social content and is easier to direct people to verbally.
- Share your link through the channels that make sense for you - social media, trading communities, a personal newsletter, your network. The link tracks referrals regardless of where someone clicks it from.
Milestone Bonuses
In addition to the monthly recurring commissions, there are two milestone bonuses paid on top of your ongoing earnings.
- 20 active referrals: $500 bonus
- 100 active referrals: $2,000 bonus
"Active referrals" means currently subscribed customers who signed up through your link. Referrals who have cancelled do not count toward the milestone total. These bonuses are paid in addition to your regular monthly commissions, not instead of them.
Payout Details
- Payment date: the 15th of each month
- Minimum threshold: $50 (commissions below this amount roll over to the following month)
- Payment methods: PayPal or bank transfer
The dashboard in the affiliate portal shows your current balance, active referral count, and payment history. If you are approaching the $50 threshold, the dashboard will reflect that before the 15th so you know whether to expect a payment in the current cycle.
What Works and What Does Not
The affiliate program performs best when you are sharing from genuine experience with the platform. People in trading communities can tell the difference between a recommendation that comes from actual use and one that is clearly promotional. The most effective affiliates tend to be members who are already active - posting alerts, participating in the Discord, using the tools daily - and who share the platform naturally as part of how they talk about their trading process.
Generic promotional copy ("sign up for this platform and get edge") underperforms specific descriptions of what you actually use. If you rely on DealerEdge for gamma levels, say that. If the AlgoEdge alerts are part of your morning routine, describe how. If you have participated in the monthly competition, that context is worth sharing. Specific, honest descriptions of how the platform fits into real trading are more persuasive than any marketing angle.
Channels that tend to work well for affiliates include social media accounts focused on trading content, Discord servers and trading communities where you are already a known contributor, and personal newsletters or content where you discuss your process. The common thread is that you already have an audience who trusts your perspective on trading tools.
Tracking Your Performance
The affiliate portal dashboard shows your click-through counts, conversion rate, active referral total, and estimated earnings for the current period. Reviewing this data periodically helps you understand which content and channels are driving actual sign-ups versus just clicks. If one channel is converting and another is not, that is worth knowing so you can focus your effort where it is producing results.
If you are also participating in the monthly trading competition, note that affiliate activity and competition scoring are completely separate. Your referral count does not affect your competition score, and your competition standing does not affect your affiliate earnings. The two programs run independently. Honest Expectations
The 30% recurring rate is the commission structure. Your actual earnings will depend on how many people you refer, how relevant Trade Echo is to the audience you share it with, and how many of those referrals stay subscribed month over month. Members who refer a small number of highly relevant people (serious active traders who have a genuine use for the platform) often see better retention than those who share broadly with mixed audiences. Higher retention means more stable recurring commissions over time.
There are no income guarantees. Treat the affiliate program as a supplement to your regular activity, not a replacement for it. The members who get the most out of it are typically those who would be recommending the platform anyway based on their own experience.
